One of the things I got from my parents on a recent trip to visit is a couple of boxes. They contained diaries written in the 1930s and 40s. It was started on January 1, 1932 by my (Michelle’s) great-grandfather, Amos Kellogg.

Cody Barnett was born on August 1, 1889 in Leslie, Arkansas. He was the second husband of Michelle’s great-grandmother Bessie May.
Thomas Wellman and Adelia Bradley were married on July 25, 1964 in Fort Madison, Iowa. Thomas is Walt’s 1st cousin once removed.
Dolores Wellman was born on July 18, 1918 in West Point, Iowa. She is Walt’s 1st cousin once removed.
Adelaide Brune was born on July 11, 1904 in West Point, Iowa. She was Walt’s second cousin once removed.
America celebrates the 4th of July with family gatherings and festivals. Walt and I always enjoy seeing the fireworks.
Elizabeth Wellman was born on Jun 27, 1884 in Aslage, Germany. She is Walt’s 1st cousin twice removed. Her father and Walt’s grandfather were brothers.
