Enjoy reading your blog. Myrtle and Art Hilbrands are my parents. I am #7 child and named after my mother. We had a wonderful and adventure filled time growing up. All their children with the exception of the oldest lived for a time on the island of Guam and have many great memories from this experience. Our parents operated a business on the island for many years and retired back to Oregon. They both loved fishing, farming and travelling and instilled in all their children love of country, self-reliance and reading.
