I was at work when my phone pinged with an incoming message. Usually it’s Michelle, asking a question. So I checked it as soon as I was decently able. It wasn’t Michelle. The analytics package we use on this site was congratulating us – we’ve reached a big milestone!

So we were talking and realized that our blog had it’s second birthday! That’s right, we’ve been writing this blog for two years now! It has been an amazing ride and we are so glad you have all come along with us.
Just over a year ago we started our blog. It has been… interesting.
We’re having a great time writing the blog. It’s been an interesting learning experience, and it has really flexed our writing muscles.
But the holidays are coming up fast, and both of us have some other projects underway as well. So….
I mean sure, there are some mornings I feel like I might be. But age isn’t what I’m talking about.
Not to worry. We have a plan! No, really!
So far this blog has been a bit of a mishmash. Which shouldn’t be too surprising. After all, “a bit of a mishmash” would also describe our interests, our book collection, our home decor, etc. It isn’t exactly a shock that our blog would end up that way too.
But reaching the end of the Grand Tour posts gives us an opportunity to bring a bit of order to things. And we’re going to use it.
Our usual schedule, to the extent that a blog this young can call anything “usual” as yet, has been to do two posts a week, on Tuesday and Friday. And that’s still the plan. Most of the time…
