Not to worry. We have a plan! No, really!

So far this blog has been a bit of a mishmash. Which shouldn’t be too surprising. After all, “a bit of a mishmash” would also describe our interests, our book collection, our home decor, etc. It isn’t exactly a shock that our blog would end up that way too.

But reaching the end of the Grand Tour posts gives us an opportunity to bring a bit of order to things. And we’re going to use it.

So, the general plan is this:

Mondays will be posts by Michelle, about things she finds interesting. Expect to see lots of cooking and quilting, though Heaven knows there’s a wide range of other topics she might have something to say about.

Wednesdays will be posts by Walt. Those could cover gaming, shop projects, camping, song parodies or whatever else he comes up with.

Fridays will be family history. It could be a story, pictures, snippets from family trees, newspaper clippings, or whatever else we can find. We’ve got at least a dozen banker’s boxes full of material, so there’s not much chance of running out.

From time to time we may interrupt the regular schedule for something like the Grand Tour, but that will probably only happen once or twice a year.

I wouldn’t call this “order from the chaos” exactly, but it’s a start. Stay tuned!
