I have written several prior articles about milling cutters, and today it’s time for another. We’re going to look at a specialized cutter for making dovetails. Once again, the person who named these didn’t waste much time on the task. They’re called dovetail cutters.

Anna Elizabeth Holtkamp was born on April 26, 1867 to Johann B. and Catherine Hutchins Holtkamp near St Paul, Iowa. She is a relation of Walt’s through the Link branch of the family.

Albert Strothman and Mayme Schutte were married on April 19, 1932, in West Point, Iowa. Albert is the son of Casper and Mary Strothman. His sister Mary married Walt’s 2nd great-uncle Eustace Link.
Betty Jean Duca Hopson Durfee was born on April 12, 1928 to Arthur and Helen Ethington Duca in Niagara, Wisconsin. She married Michelle’s cousin Dick Durfee.
I hate to get rid of odds and ends of things. I’ve shown a few ways I use up leftover food items, such as freezer soup. I use a variety of leftover breads in my stuffing at Thanksgiving. Even after that, I had tons of leftover bread last year, and so decided to use up a bunch and make bread crumbs.
Mary C Fullenkamp was born on April 6, 1848 to Johannes and Katherina Droppelmann Fullenkamp. Mary is related to Walt through the Link side of the family.
I try to do a good job with menu planning so that I know I have all of the ingredients I need to make a dish. Sometimes, you don’t have what you need to cook a recipe. So what do you do? How about a substitution?
