More musings – the to-do list

I wrote about resolutions in this post. Today I thought I would write about the to-do list that so many of us have, whether it’s on our phone, calendar, dry-erase board or note pad. There are dozens of apps and specialty ways to keep track of things.

It’s the start of a new year and many people use a time like this to make resolutions to change something in their lives. And I do use the time to consider things, but I don’t really make resolutions in the traditional way anymore.

Stop the Shenanigans at Hoosier National Forest!

Hoosier National Forest, which oversees Charles C. Deam Wilderness, is proposing some Draconian new camping rules for the Wilderness. That’s bad, but there’s worse. The change will also allow them to arbitrarily change the rules in the future without any way to prevent it. We have to stop this!

It’s Time to Exercise Your Right to Vote!

I have no wish to make this political, but I hope everyone in the United States is taking time to vote today if they haven’t already voted. To preserve your voting rights, you need to vote. It’s important to vote even in the off years.
