Stories of family, creativity, and diverse distractions.

An Important Announcement! No, Really!

We’re having a great time writing the blog. It’s been an interesting learning experience, and it has really flexed our writing muscles.

But the holidays are coming up fast, and both of us have some other projects underway as well. So….

We’re cutting back

We’re going to go to posting twice a week. Fridays will remain Family Fridays, so there will be a family history post every week. But rather than each of us contributing another post each week, one or the other of us will write a post each week, which will go up on Tuesday mornings.

You may see a series of consecutive posts from me, or from Michelle. We may trade off. It’s sure to be a potpourri of subjects for the holidays!

Michelle and Walter, this is such a great blog. I really look forward to seeing it. I realized what a great history it is for my family so have started taking screenshots of your Link family posts. I don’t know that my family will ever see them but they’ll be in my photo archives for someday. Just want you to know you have taken over Aunt Georgie’s legacy. You do her proud!

Thanks so much for your kind words, Sandy! Do let your kids know about the blog, we’re trying to make sure everyone in the family gets to know their history and understand a little bit of where they came from. We may not be able to all get together in West Point anymore but at least there’s a way to hear the stories.

      Love, Walt
