New year…..clean up time!

Each new year, I take some time to clean out file folders and straighten up things. I like to start fresh and it gives me a chance to see what needs fixing, updating, mending and so on. One of the things I do is update my files on family history.

Nina Warren was born on December 19, 1898 in Upton, Wyoming. She married Michelle’s great-uncle, Joseph Durfee.

Happy Birthday Edward Herman Boeding!

Edward Boeding was born on December 12, 1882 in West Point, Iowa. He is related by marriage via the link side of the family.

Happy Birthday Edna Helmer Hoel!

Edna Helmer Hoel was born on December 5, 1907. She is related to Walt twice, once as a first cousin 1x removed and once as the wife of his uncle.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope all of our family and friends enjoy time with others and good food on this Thanksgiving Day!

We’ll be back with more family history next week. We are looking forward to opting outside Friday. Walt’s work is always closed on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
