If you look on line, you will find all kinds of ways to fold a fitted sheet. But here is that one weird trick they don’t want you to know!

I really do appreciate a fitted sheet. It stays in place better than a flat sheet that is tucked around a mattress. But they can be very difficult to fold. I’ve tried several “tricks” over the years but they still end up as kind of a wad.

But one day, I figured out a way to fold a fitted sheet completely flat. All it took was laying it out on the bed and using a pair of scissors to remove the pesky elastic sewn in the edges!

I was able to get a perfectly neat sheet and everything stacked neatly in the hall closet!

Have a great April 1st! You can find other funny posts by searching for the silliness category.

In actual fact, this was an old set of sheet where they had gotten so thin I caught a toe in the fabric and tore it. I was cutting them up to use for cleaning.

Old flannel works well for washing windows and polishing stainless steel appliances. I can reuse them several times before they need to be discarded.
