Anna Redmond was born on March 31, 1833 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania to Thomas Allen and Catherine Moore Redmond. She was Walt’s great-grandmother.

I haven’t been able to find out much about this branch of the family so far. I covered some information in this post. We had found a great picture of her and her family, and did some research based on the names I had.

This picture has members of the Redmond and Fisher families. I would guess this picture was taken in the 1910’s.

I’m not sure when the Redmond family moved to Ohio. According to the information I have from family, Anna married John Benjamin Fisher in Ohio. His name is often listed as Benjamin.

I’ve seen some information that suggests that she may have been married to someone else before she married Benjamin. I’ve haven’t found anything conclusive either way.

We know that they had at least 5 children, including Walt’s grandmother, Martha Ann Fisher Hoel.

Anna Redmond Fisher died on February 19, 1923 in Mercer County, Ohio.
