Mabel and Mildred are twin sisters. They were born on April 10, 1913 in Coldwater, Ohio to Clarence Arthur and Sarah (Sadie) Elizabeth Hoel Ransbottom. Sadie (Walt’s aunt) had three sets of twins.

Mabel married Ben Collier on September 10, 1932 in Missouri. They had 3 children. She later married William Walter McClendon, Sr., and they had two children. Mabel died July 5, 1973.

Tom and Mildred Hatton

Mildred married Tom Hatton on November 18, 1933. They had two children. She died April 2, 1987.

Elizabeth Proctor, Mildred Hatton, Sadie Ransbottom, and Lisa Proctor.

Mabel, Mildred and their families lived in Newellton, Louisiana, along with many of their siblings.
