Sometimes you can go back a ways. The Kellogg family line has been traced back for many generations.

My (Michelle’s) 4th great-grandfather, Warren Kellogg had a birthday this week. Warren was born on January 5, 1779 in New Hartford, Connecticut. His parents were Abraham and Sarah Seymour Kellogg.

Warren was a carpenter by trade, and moved to Trenton, New Jersey and then to Westmoreland, New York. He married Rhoda Case April 11, 1813. She was the daughter of Caleb and Rhoda Mills Case. They had 10 children.

His father Abraham married Sarah Cowles Merrill on January 6, 1803 after the death of his first wife on March 4, 1802.
