Fun photos – mirror shots

I haven’t done a lot of editing on these pictures, but I got such a smile from them that I wanted to share. When Carl and Georgie were dating, they did several sets of pictures where they would pose one and then the other in a similar setting. Here are a couple of fun ones.

These pictures were all taken in the mid 1930s in Iowa. You can see the same bottles and bowl on the table in each of these shots. I would love to know where this was taken. It looks like a diner.

The next couple pictures were taken outside.

This reminds me of the area around Lowell, where Georgie owned some land.

I know there are other shots done like this, including several from a trip to Michigan in 1940. I will have to hunt those out at some point. Hope you enjoyed a glance into the picture boxes.
