Happy birthday Aunt Louise!

Louise Josephine Link Nelson was born on June 17, 1921 in West Point, Iowa, to William John and Elizabeth Wellman Link.

Her family lived on the Bruegenhempke place west of West Point when she was born.

They moved to West Point around 1926. After graduating high school, Louise moved to Chicago, where she met her future husband, Leslie John Nelson. She and Les shared a great love of fun and took some great pictures with Georgie (her sister) and Carl Hoel.

Les and Louise were married on June 19, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois. They lived in Crete, Illinois for several years. The family spent a little time in Wisconsin before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma. They had seven children.

Louise was killed in a car accident in Tulsa on June 1, 1969.
