Marty here (Walt’s brother)…
Ah, yes… the beloved “Pal”, of whom I had heard so much when I was a child.
“Pal” was the reason that we never were allowed to have a family dog.
Over the years it has become obvious to me, (through tearful experience), the difficulty of saying the inevitable “farewell” to a much-loved dog.
The ultimate heartbreak was more then our parents wished to endure again.
You only grieve, to the extent that you loved.
I never knew you… but RIP “Pal”.
