More cool photos: Grandma Link

It’s been so much fun to dig through the pictures. I found a couple of great ones with Walt’s Grandma Link this time. Lizzie was born April 2, 1890.

Elizabeth Wellman Link. I believe this picture was taken around 1910, but there was no date.

The second picture I found was from Lizzie and W.J.Link’s wedding. They were married August 2, 1916. I had another picture from their wedding in this post.

There are a number of people in this shot and only some are identified on the back. If anyone has any ideas on who the others might be, please let us know.

From the wedding.

Moving across the front row, the two children on the left are unidentified. The seated people are Kathryn Link, George Wellman, and the happy couple, Elizabeth and William Link. Next is Robert and Leo Link, and the girls are listed as the Helm girls.

Right behind the seated people are listed as Josephine (illegible), Gerhard Wellman, Father Groethe, Al Wellman, Isadore Link, unknown, unknown. Across the back there are several unidentified people. Georgie’s notes say: unknown, unknown, John Link, unknown, ?Krueger, ?Wellman, unknown.

I am wondering if the Krueger in the picture is Bernard, born Jan. 6, 1869, died Nov. 23, 1929. He would be related through the Links.

Hopefully as I continue to go through pictures, I will be able to identify more of the people in these pictures.

You might check the date on the info on Facebook 1890 or 1980. It is so great that you have so much identification for the family.

One of the very very few pictures I have ever seen of my great grandpa Gerhard and grandpa Al. Thank you so much. I will always treasure this. I only wish my dad were alive to see it.
