I have been working on scanning in some photos from the many boxes we have. I found a couple of fun photos of Walt’s brother’s and cousins from the 1950s.
The picture was taken outside of Carl and Georgie’s house in Fort Madison, IA. Tony was the oldest and Bodie the youngest.
There was also this photo where the kids looked a like they were done standing still for pictures.

What amazes me, besides how adorable these photos are and just perfect to my memories, is what great quality the photos are. My whole albums, taken with point and shoot cameras are just terrible quality…especially so many years later! Thanks for this!

Dad did a pretty good job. But as a kid picture time was excruciating, Dad would make us all face into the sun (for good lighting, he said), while he fiddled around with light meters, focus, and so forth for what seemed like forever. It was probably like two minutes, really. But that was two minutes of our “fun with the cousins” time!
