Henry Schippert and Ada Link were married on November 29, 1922 in Edina, Missouri.
Henry “Heinie” Schippert was born March 23, 1888 in Burlington, Iowa, to Sam Schippert and Barbara Fritz. Ada Link was born November 14, 1887 in West Point, Iowa, to Isadore Link and Theresia Kempker.
Helen, Dora, and Catherine were sisters and cousins of Ada. Their mother Mary Kempker Brockman was Theresia’s sister. Kathryn Link was Ada’s sister.
Henry lost his left arm in an accident sometime before this picture was taken in 1956. Walt and his brother think that their grand-uncle Heinie worked as a painter. They remember he had an extension ladder that could be raised by a rope and pulley system so that he could set it up himself. He also worked as a constable at one point.
Henry and Ada lived in Burlington, Iowa. Henry died September 4, 1969. Ada died March 20, 1972.
