It’s been a busy few weeks from Thanksgiving to Christmas. We want to wish everyone a happy holidays, whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, the solstice or any other winter celebration.

We celebrate by decorating a tree a few weeks before Christmas. This picture is from when we had Brownie, our previous dog. He got so excited that we had to keep the tree on the table, and only used the upper section.

We like to make cookies and other goodies. The last couple of years we have used Walt’s grandmother’s sugar cookie recipe. I talked about it in this post. Now that I’ve made it a couple of times, I’ll have to post the full recipe.

We love to wrap packages in wild and fun shapes. Walt does amazing things with cardboard and wrapping paper.

""

Breakfast is homemade bagels and smoked salmon. We open presents and enjoy our day.

We hope all of you enjoy your holidays and time with your family and friends.
