Today is the wedding anniversary of Adam Fritz and Johanna Marie Seimer. They were married on January 27, 1857. They had either nine or ten children (there are different reports) and were married for 51 years. I found their obituaries on line. They were both born in Germany and immigrated to the United States, Adam in 1853 and Johanna in 1847. They met and married in Ohio. Adam at one time owned a shoe repair shop, a saloon and later a cigar and tobacco store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
